The Governor Race in Florida
Time is on hand to discover the platforms of the four candidates running for Governor in Florida when Jeb Bush's term ends in January 2007. The candidates are Charlie Crist (R) Tom Gallagher (R) Jim David (D) and Rod Smith (Dem). Their addresses are: Tom Gallagher, Candidate for Governor, P.O. Box 10550, Tallahassee, FL 32303; Jim Davis, Candidate for Governor, PO Box 10399, Tampa, FL 33670; Rod Smith, Candidate for Governor, PO Box 203, Alachua, FL 32616; Charlie Crist, Candidate for Governor, Suite C, 2032 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
Citizens in the Center, write these gentlemen now, state your concerns and ask for a written reply stating their policies on the issues that affect the grassroots of the state for the next four years. Clean air, clean water, minimum wages, restrained development, roads, disaster preparedness, an efficient state government run by state employees and not outsourced, taxes, insurance coverage for home owners, affordable housing, above board honest elections. Both Crist and Gallagher have been there under Bush. The two Democrats need to be questioned as to the changes they would make.
Citizens in the Center can make a difference if they become informed, speak out, and campaign for the right man.
