Citizens in the Center

There is so much bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us, it behooves any of us to speak well of all the rest of us.

See Saw

The concept of Citizens in the Center, a third party movement, is that of balance. Two parties on a see saw go up and down. One party is on the ground - the other is high above. Unless the two parties move toward the center, the one on the ground is powerless, cannot move, stuck and the one on the high end is unable to propel the other.

The simile is plain. The down helpless end must move toward the center in order to bring action about, and the high end position must move forward towards the center to achieve a balance and not be dropped to the bottom.

The center position for both parties is a new maneuver or a new third party Citizens in the Center who can bring balance to all citizens. For going on six years, the Democrats have been at the bottom, helpless to improve their prospects. At the top have been an elite wealth seeking class of Republicans, getting all the benefits, above all the pleas from the bottom, out of reach of the poor, the working class, the average American, the peace seekers, the young and the old.

The move toward the center, the new party of Citizens in the Center must organize, elect representatives to Congress and the Administration branch and build enough weight to return the power to the people and balance the board. The correct operation of our country is three fold, a system of checks and balances that is now out of balance. A third party must emerge from the rank and file of our fellow citizens. They will be those who see and saw and get the country going again.
